After meeting in 2017 whilst studying music in southern Germany, Maxl, Ben and Markus are slowly redefining what live electronic music sounds and looks like. Initially a live band, Klangphonics have evolved into an act where the traditional boundaries of band, DJ and producer no longer apply.

2024 marked a new chapter with the release of their debut album „Perfect Opposure“ in the autumn. The record and its lead single „In Between (Memories and Dreams)“ opened the door to a sound that, with its unique blend of modern electronic elements and traditional songwriting sensibilities, refuses to be labeled or put in a box. It set the tone for a new tonality in their music, combining a more delicate pop-inspired production whilst retaining the techno and house influences that make them such a captivating live act.

Following their major European and first North American headline tour in early 2025, the band are now preparing the next steps: a continuously expanded AV show, new material in the works, and a festival summer 2026 already in the making. One thing is certain – you can expect to hear (and see) much more from Klangphonics in the months and years to come.
